In Rajasthan: Land of Holy Cows

In India, because the cow is considered sacred, it is never eaten. It is used for milk though and farmers here tell us that a single cow produces just 5-10 litres of milk per day.

Good thing India has 30% of the world’s cows. Milk is necessary for good chai!

    • The cows ARE pretty crazy…especially when they are meandering through all the insane traffic so calmly. India is definitely an amazing place to visit!
