How is India? We are deciding if we can afford to go to a wedding there in Feb (a cousin is marrying an Indian fellow)..Only problem is we will only have two weeks (argh! – all our travels have generally been so extended that two weeks only in a country is difficult to imagine). Hope you are loving it and had a great xmas and new years. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • India is amazing and frustrating and bad and good all at the same time, and definitely affordable. If you can afford the flight here, the rest of the stuff is soooo cheap. We’re barely cracking $60/day including everything, and we’re not even really watching what we spend.

I hear you about 2 weeks though…will seem really, really short, especially for India. It’s such a big country with so many different regions and cultures. Whereabouts is the wedding? If you’re really disciplined and stick to just one region, 2 week is doable…but you’ll definitely want to come back to explore the rest. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Let us know if you decide to go and where – we have lots of great tips for accommodation and restaurants… Happy new year!!!
