Travel Memory: Boracay

February 2011: One week on Boracay’s White Beach during Lunar New Year

Catching a connecting flight from Cebu to Caticlan.

It was cloudy for most of our visit, but the water was still an extraordinary shade of blue.

We spent our nights with fresh fruit juices, fire shows and San Miguel.

Despite my fear of heights, I was convinced to go parasailing.

A quick stopover in Manila, a divine seafood bouillabaisse, and our week was done.

  1. absolutely beautiful! I’ve gone parasailing once. I was expecting it to be scary but actually it was really lovely and soothing ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Haha, I was still terrified. It didn’t help that hubby decided to rock around to make it even more scary. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I’m originally from the Philippines. Dang it, I have yet to go parasailing, nor go to Boracay. I shall not exit this world without getting there.

    • It really was incredibly beautiful, and the sand there was some of the best I’ve seen. So white and soft. Have a fantastic trip! I’m jealous!
