Weekly Photo Challenge: Summer Lovin’

In my 20s, nothing symbolized summer and freedom, like a west coast road trip.

Every year, after university finished, I’d hit the road and make the drive from my home in Calgary, through the Rocky Mountains, Okanagan Valley wineries, campsites and lake, and eventually wind up in Vancouver, or if we were really ambitious, Vancouver Island.

This year, I get to re-create those bittersweet young adult memories with my hubby Bear. It really is Summer Lovin’.

Have you ever been on a memorable road trip? Tell us all about it in the comments below! 😀

On a side note, I’ve yet to master the skills of traveling AND posting while on the road, but we’ve certainly got a lot of stories to share with you, once we get back to home base (though a laptop may appear in the near future to make things a little easier.)

In the meantime, follow along on our Facebook page, or on Instagram, for regular updates and photos from the road.

    • It was fantastic! I think Agri ate just as many cherries as he picked… about 11 kilos! 😉

  3. I LOVE the harbor picture! Such dramatic clouds and lighting! Also, I have no idea how you’ve managed without a laptop! I’ve taken my laptop with me on every. single. trip. I’ve ever taken.

    • The scenery on the drive out is beyond beautiful. Lol…and yes, the laptop is definitely an issue. I’m definitely not managing very well without one…as evidenced by my complete lack of posting over the last few weeks! 😉

  4. Nice variety on your gallery. I particularly love the British Columbia.
My most memorable is our 9 day trip from Naples, Italy to hmm …I’d say … Munich. I can’t remember because we visited a lot of countries. 🙂

    • British Columbia has been so blessed by Mother Nature. It’s crazy beautiful! Lol…you weren’t on one of those Asian tour groups that takes you to 8 million countries in 9 days, were you?? 😉
