“Blending In” with the Locals

worldwide travel

When traveling, we like to express ourselves by “blending in” with the locals as much as possible. ๐Ÿ˜‰

On a trip to India and Sri Lanka, my friend Sarah and I found plenty of opportunities to mingle with residents of Bangalore, Mysore, and Colombo.

  11. Well you may not really blend in very well but in my experience those big smiles and friendly attitudes go a long way with locals. Great photos!

    • Thanks Sue! ๐Ÿ™‚ Interacting with the people of the country I’m visiting is definitely one of my favourite things about traveling (besides the food), and it’s particularly fun in India. I find people there are always so warm, friendly and curious.
