From the iPhone: A Taste of Tallinn

We’re 2 days away from the end of our travels through Scandinavia and Estonia, and boy, do I have a lot to tell you about. However, those stories will have to wait until we get home and get the pictures off the camera and onto the computer.

For now, here’s our first post, created entirely from iPhone photos. πŸ™‚

Tallinn’s UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town has been the biggest surprise of our trip, for sure. With well preserved and authentic Hanseatic and medieval architecture that mostly hasn’t been rebuilt or “improved,” it’s been referred to as the “medieval pearl of Europe.”

We tend to agree.

    • Especially with all the free photo editing apps available – Snapseed is so easy to use and really makes a difference. It’s a great solution for the headache of getting pics on a blog while on the road!

    • Seriously! Who knew? We certainly didn’t…we had no expectations of the place and it turned out to be so, so lovely. It’s always great when a place exceeds expectation! πŸ™‚

    • We loved it too!! Like a breath of fresh air after the greyness of Scandinavia. I don’t think it’ll be off the beaten path for long though…apparently tourist numbers there are steadily increasing, and it’s not hard to see why! πŸ™‚
